  • Really incredible venue for big groups. The barn is on a beautiful lot with lots of wide open areas for get-togethers and lawn games. Inside the barn is very spacious: a big common area on the ground floor off of the kitchen, a little lounge on the 2nd floor, and then the games room on the 3rd floor. Lots of room to spread out and find privacy when needed, and lots of room for everyone to get together for activities and meetings. Bedrooms were neat and contemporary. Almost every bedroom has an en suite washroom, otherwise there's never one too far away. Nancy was a wonderful host. She's easy to communicate with and can recommend and organize local excursions if you're interested. Great time there: would highly recommend!

  • Last year our team stayed at The Post and Beam. We had catered dinner brought in by a local chef all setup by the host Nancy and Dave. The chef and his assistant were completely professional. We had a number of our real estate team and their partners stay the night while a few of us stayed for the whole weekend. Everyone was very happy with the accommodations and worked out perfectly for our group. We have recommended the Post and Beam to multiple other groups and all have been over the moon with their stays as well. We explored the trails around, and were able to take amazing pictures both inside and out. The natural beauty inside is an amazing backdrop to any special event, and the spacious options allow any type of function to be possible. We will be booking for years to come, and recommending everyone goes.

  • We were fortunate enough to have had the very first wedding here. Typically, being the first, you would expect some hiccups and wrinkles in the process that would need ironed out for the future but Nancy and Dave absolutely NAILED IT. I honestly cannot say enough good things about these people and I want to scream it from the rooftops. The venue was spotless clean when we arrived, grounds were manicured and freshly cut and overall it was very clear that they take great pride in their property. The attention to detail, especially for someone picky like me, was TOP NOTCH. I was in awe at all the little things they thought about and had prepared for us. Water and snacks at every bedside, cold beverages on arrival, firewood ready to go (Dave even offered to start the fire for us) and an easy going attitude that you really don't find at many venues these days. We truly felt at home here and that was due to everything that Nancy and Dave did for us. I will never forget these people for what they did for us and how we were treated. Thank you Nancy and Dave, the absolute best hosts out there. 11 out of 10. I would have given 100 stars if I could.
